IEA Beloved Horses

Through the generosity of donors, we proudly honor the beloved lesson horses in the IEA program and in lesson programs throughout the country.

The IEA Beloved Horses Fundraiser honors the horse’s past & present, like Billy White Shoes who carried us on our journeys and help ensure future young riders have the same opportunity. All donations will support IEA young riders through Financial Assistance, Youth Development, Scholarships, and Horsemanship Educational Programming.

A gifted and highly opinionated equine partner, Rembrandt “Remi” was a welcome regular at IEA hunt seat shows in Zone 3 from 2003 to 2012, during his time at The Madeira School and Meadowbrook Stables. A handsome warmblood, he exuded power and personality. Under his tutelage, many honed their skills in the fine art of horsemanship. Some called him temperamental, but enlightened riders earned his approval and flowered under his instruction. Intelligent, clever, and forever cheeky, Remi will always be remembered as a Beloved Horse of the IEA.
