Membership Marketing Coordinator
Hello Coaches, Riders and Parents,
Welcome to the 2016-2017 IEA Season! By now I'm sure all of your paperwork has been submitted to the membership office, shows planned, calendars made, and practices kicking off.
I am very excited to start this year as your brand new Zone 1 Administrator! I want to thank all of the IEA staff, VOLUNTEERS, coaches, parents and riders in Zone 1. Without you, this would not be possible.
A reminder to all, Zone 1 Finals this year will be held at the Eastern States Exposition, April 1st-2nd, 2017! It is a brand new venue for the finals, and we have the luxury of being the first equestrian event held in the coliseum for 2017 with brand new, fresh footing! The prizelist will be up on the Zone 1 website shortly, so please reference and pass along.
This year for Zone 1 Finals we have compiled the best of the best officials and staff, and the search is on for the most qualified horses within the zone. The show theme is Under the Sea, and I have some excellent activities and awards planned for the entire weekend, so rally up the troops and get excited!
By this point your region presidents should have reached out to you to schedule shows and will be corresponding with you soon to begin the planning process for Semi-Finals! Please keep a watchful eye out for their emails!
Please do not ever hesitate to contact myself or the membership office with any questions!
As the show season kicks off this first weekend of September, I wish the best of luck to all teams and send you off with a quote:
"Inspiration is one thing and you can't control it, but hard work is what keeps the ship moving. Good luck means, work hard. Keep up the good work." -Kevin Eubanks
